Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, and Hudson County Correctional Facilities
Due to Covid restrictions, Hudson County jail is the only county jail that has been reopened to ministry volunteers. Please be prayerful that the Lord opens the doors to these other jails once again.
Our ministry is not for the faint of heart. If you feel the Lord calling you to present the gospel to men and women who are broken, please feel free to contact us through the website.
Our Impact
Our Goal
Through weekly Bible studies and the teaching of God’s Word,
we do our best to surgically apply the scriptures to the hearts of the
men and ladies. Our desire is to see them repent and surrender their
lives to Jesus Christ.
Action
Taking the Word of God to the tiers where they are residing.
Praying, evangelizing, teaching and encouraging them in their walks with
the Lord. Introducing them to Jesus.
Outcome
Pushing them forward to grow, walk by faith, and be fruitful
and multiply. Helping them set goals and have a plan when they are released.
Volunteer’s Testimonial
While I have served OFPLM in various ways over the years, it’s only because this ministry first served me. Debbie introduced me to Jesus at a very dark time in my life and then poured into me for years. I’ll be forever grateful!!

Bible Study
Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, and Hudson County Correctional Facilities
Every volunteer who desires to serve in the prison system must fill out OFPLM’s ministry application and be individually interviewed. Each facility also requires a mandatory orientation class that is only offered a few times a year. If you want to serve keep this in mind, and be praying as you wait patiently. The process is at times very slow.
