Our Counseling Philosophy
We believe that true biblical counseling is the only way a person can be set free forever, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It is not based on present worldly philosophies or secular psychology mixed with a few scriptures. The Word of God is objective Truth, and stands on its own two feet.(John 17:17) It is a sufficient solution for whatever problem or issue one may be going through. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
Debbie Reardon is trained and has been practicing biblical counseling since 2005. She is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. (ACBC) She has received an additional certification for marriage and reconciliation counseling. Philip and Debbie both apply the scriptures surgically to help people find victory from their life dominating sins.
Discerning what is going on in the counselees’ heart, by getting to the root of the problem instead of simply treating the fruit.
Using God’s Word to change the counselee’s thinking and behavior. (Rom.12:1-2). We believe that a person’s particular life situation is in direct proportion to the amount of time they spend in the Word of God through the Spirit by faith.
By helping them fulfill their God given calling and thus their purpose in life, which is to glorify God.(Ps.115:l)
