Intercessory Prayer -
For Inmates:  This involves a commitment to intercede on behalf of our Christian brothers and sisters behind bars. We interecede for them as well as for their children and families.
For Volunteer Workers:  These men and women are going into the prisons regularly to minister to these inmates. Please cover their efforts in prayer

Mentoring:  Many of the women that come out of prison have no idea how to go about restarting and living their new life in Christ. Many would benefit from a one-on-one mentoring type relationship. This is really what keeps men and women from falling back into old behavioral patterns. Just an hour or two a week is not much to invest in a life!! It's amazing what God will do through you.

Helping with Re-entry:  Follow-up with girls leaving prison - transportation to church, jobs, medical appointments, court appearances, finding places to live, general restarting etc.

Christmas Gifts for Inmate Children:  In the month of December we collect new toys/clothes for the children of men and women behind bars. We also seek to establish relationships with the family members when the gifts are delivered. Meals and food have been used to bridge that gap. We also have had small parties for the children when possible. This is a great way to get your family or youth group involved and reaching out to the community.

Bible Donations:  If you would like to invest in this opportunity (buying a Study Bible - $25.00) or if you have a fairly new or gently used Bible laying around your house, please let us know. We may be able to ship them into the prisons.

Lined white paper, Christmas and blank cards w/envelopes:  We are always in need of these items which you may already have laying around the house. We usually give them out to the women in the jails as a gift after each Bible study they have attended. It helps them stay in contact with their families. They aren't supplied with these items in jail. Please no occasion cards. Thanks!!
